Swimming costume needed. Also towel. In Iceland they have very good rules on showering naked before putting on costume and entering the pool areas. Also you normally are supposed to dry yourself afterwards in shower area before returning to where you get dressed. This means floor of dressing area is normally pleasantly dry. BIG smile here on this question!

Blue Lake Resort - Campground, Nudist, Camping
As most people say, it is a must do on a visit to Iceland! It is expensive but it's a once off so treat yourself! We were worried about the whole naked showering thing but the showers are cubicles and do have walls and doors so don't stress. The changing room are layed out in little "pods".
Is it clothing optional or what?
We were looking forward to a relaxing afternoon after being on two long plane rides and battling a bit of jet lag. The kids equated the lagoon to a giant pool so they were excited. The Blue Lagoon is a unique geothermal spa. The excess water supposedly totally clean is pumped into the lagoon and renewed every 40 hours. Yes, it was man made but seeing the lava field, one can easily believe it was all supernatural.
We have approximately 20 acres of sunny and shaded areas for our camp situated amid 98 acres of farm land. The camp facilities are approved by the State of Illinois each year. The camp season is from the first weekend in May to the first weekend in October.
